Two of the tracks were collected on Globestyle's long out-of-print Pepe Kalle sampler CD, Gigantafrique, including Pon Moun Paka Bougé, but after digitizing this vinyl I can say that especially on that cut the sound is vastly better than the CD version. There is more definition, especially noticeable with the guitars. Not all is perfect on this record, though: there is some surface noise on the second cut, "Djarabi - Adjatou." Kwassa kwassa!

This is the LP which is how Pepe Kalle became Pepe Kalle we know today. This LP showed the great growth of Pepe Kalle and the great legend making of Pepe Kalle. Pepe Kalle's vocals and animations was excellent and flawless. Greater, you got singers like Luciana de Mingongogo and Solo Sita. Then you got an all star team in guitars with Boss Professor Nguma Lokito, King Dally Kimoko, and Soukous Master Diblo Dibala. This made a great work.
Pepe Kalle made a great LP. He was the man who was able to make a great work. Pepe Kalle will never be forgotten. His legend will always be with me.
